Damerham Pig Race

If you’re driving around the countryside and you hear Murray Walker’s familiar “And it’s go, go, go!” coming from the hills do not assume immidiately that you’ve gone nuts. It’s probably just the Damerham Pig Race. Although famous for its awesome duck race, Damerham Village, near Fordingbridge in the New Forest, also hosts the extremely entertaining annual 100-metre sprint series for pigs. And who else to commentate a race than good old Murray Walker? This combination guarantees a few hours of good fun and I am definitely going to Damerham Pig Race 2010, this time on time.
